Veteran looking for truck ride: My name is Lou Caposey. I live
in Sturgis, Michigan. I'm 58 years old and I'm looking for a
ride in a Short Track Truck. I have raced open wheel vintage
modifieds for 11 years. I looked at the 2007 schedule and the
only track I haven't won at is Winchester, but I have never raced
there. I'm trying to make the best of the few racing years I
have left. I am looking for a ride. A couple sponsors may come
with me. I'm looking for an owner of a truck that wants a driver
to keep the fenders on and go to the front on a regular basis.
My wreck vs race percentage is probably 1 or 2%. I have won over
80 races and 4 drivers championships in 11 years of racing. I
would bring up to $2,000 with me. Would consider part-time or
development driver status for new driver or team. I am very familiar
with running on the Hoosier 970 and at most of the tracks in
the STT Series. I am very consistent in checking gages while
racing and very sensitive to the feel and sound of the race car.
I know that I can be a positive part of a Short Track Truck team
