- Note from the Office
of the Series President:
- This points structure is designed
to reward those who are consistent and consitently fast. It encourages
great racing and allows the fair use of an inversion in feature
event starting position determination. It discourages 'sand bagging'
and enables side-by-side racing.

- Points are awarded for qualifying
and heavily favor those who learn and prepare to qualify well.
Bonus points are designed to reward those drivers who pass -
both throughout the race and for the lead - in order to generate
close competitive, and enjoyable racing. Feature finish points
are structured to reward both consistent finishes and finishing
races.

- These points do not resemble
the typical short track points structure which generally allows
drivers to 'just show up' and 'ride around' to collect points.
You will see larger point spreads from week to week than in a
typical scoring system. But, on any given night, points swings
of 30-50 points are not uncommon. The lesson: to be successful
here you must not only show up, but be fast night in and night
out, and most importantly, race hard!
