Claims Harold Tatman Memorial 50
- Mansfield, OH
(June 28, 2008) Mother Nature couldn't stop the biggest short
track truck race of the year and no one could stop reigning ShortTrackTrucks.com
Challenge Series champion, Justin Claucherty, from taking the
win at the Harold Tatman Memorial 50. The staff of the ASALMS
and Mansfield Motorsports Park did an incredible job drying the
track after enduring nearly two hours of late afternoon rain
storms allowing the show to go on as advertised. Claucherty withstood
fierce pressure from Keith Wioncek the entire feature event.
Joey Shuryan hounded the lead pair but settled for third over
a strong Paul Schaffer and Hall Electronics Rookie of the Race,
Rob Roney. Larry Barylski earned the Allstar Performance Hard
Charger Award for his season-best run to sixth place.

500 Fun for 'The Gentleman'
- (March 4, 2008) The Pre-Season
500 hosted by KVR Motorsports turned out to be a great success
with an informative driver safety seminar by Jon Meyer of Meyer
Motorsports and awesome racing action. And yes, the truck racers
brought plenty of close racing with plenty of bumps, spins and
crashes to the go-kart track. Many thanks to the staff at Kart-2-Kart
for keeping the karts running and the action flowing. Withstanding
the pressure from a blazing fast Keera Allen (2008 STTCS Rookie
of the Year Contender) and a late race charge from Larry Barylski,
Jr. (2004 STTCS Rookie of the Year), it was the 2003 ShortTrackTrucks.com
