St. Clair Engine Sponsors Hard Luck Award

LIVONIA, MI: In an effort to offset racer's costs and to increase their brand awareness in the short track racing market, St. Clair Engine will be sponsoring the Hard Luck Award for competitors in the ShortTrackTrucks.com Challenge Series. At each point paying event remaining in 2005, series officials will declare the competitor most deserving of the $50 product certificate sponsored by St. Clair Engine based on a hardship suffered in that particular event.

And the criteria for the award? Unfortunately, the Hard Luck Award will be awarded to the driver and team who, in spite of their best efforts, suffered a crash, failed component, etc. while in the pursuit of a race win. All registered competitors for that event are eligible. In addition to the Hard Luck award, St.Clair Engine will provide a full engine dyno service and analysis to the winner of a random drawing from registered teams attending the Series Championship banquet.
