What is a ShortTrackTrucks.com Challenge Series race truck?

The trucks are reproduction fiberglass-bodied vehicles. Eligible bodystyles 1999-2005 Ford F150, Chevrolet C-10/Silverado, GMC Sierra, and Dodge Ram.

Engine and transmissions are Ford 302 ci/C4, Chevrolet 305ci/Turbo 350, and Dodge 318ci/727. Carburetor is limited to 500cfm 2 bbl Holley. Horsepower output reaches 340hp.

Each truck is set on an 108 inch wheelbase chassis. To help control costs, General Motors 1978-87 'metric' frames are used solely in the building of a ShortTrackTrucks.com Challenge Series chassis. Total Weight of the truck, with driver and fluids, must be 2,850 lbs minimum after the race event.

The trucks ride on 15" steel wheels shod with Hoosier grooved racing rubber. Top speed of the trucks is nearly 145 mph.
